This pedal car was designed to resemble a Ferrari formula race car of the early 1950s and was produced for California-based American Retro, who marketed the car as the Chrome Racer. The steel bodywork wears a chrome finish over a single-seat cockpit, and features include a matching chrome windshield frame and faux exhaust pipes along with an A/R nose decal. The steel bodywork wears a chrome finish and measures 50“³ long, 16“³ wide, and 20.5“³ to the top of the steering wheel. Features include a matching chrome grille, headlight blanks, windscreen frame, and faux exhaust pipes as well as an American Retro nose decal. The chrome stamped-steel wheels wear solid rubber tires. The cockpit features a single seat trimmed in black upholstery. A chrome three-spoke steering wheel directs the front wheels. The front wheels are driven by twin foot pedals, which also provide braking input when back-pedaled.
