Lot #24 Original Recording "If Ever I Cease to Love - Rene Louapre Orchestra

Very collectible recording (33 1/3 rpm) of the Rene Louapre Orchestra's rendition of "If Ever I Cease to Love" and three other songs commonly played at the Rex Ball. Distribution was reserved by the School of Design (the Rex organization), so it was likely sold only to krewe members. 2 songs each side. Thie orchestra later morphed into the Jimmy Maxwell Society Orchestra, which still plays at Carnival balls today. Good condition. A true collectible.

    All winning bidders will be contacted when the auction is complete (Sunday night or Monday after the sale) and given the address and time for pickup.
