Preview: By appointment only in Bent Creek Community on Monday, August 18th from 9am to 12pm. Please call 828-338-8448 or email auctions@sterlingtransitions.com for an appointment time at least 24 hours prior to the preview date. We can not always accommodate last minute preview appointment requests.
Online Bidding: Bids are accepted online starting at 6am on Friday, August 15th, 2025. Lots will close every 10 minute starting with Lot 1 at 7pm on Monday, August 18th, 2025. Bidding is extended 5 minutes if bidding occurs within last 5 minutes of lot ending. Final winner bids by approval of seller.
Winner Pick Up: Upon approval of seller winners will be able to pick up by appointment that week. Sterling Transitions will assist in the transfer of title of the trailer and provide a bill of sale.
PAYMENT INFO: You will receive an email with an attached invoice and payment instructions from Sterling Transitions. after the close of the auction. a 10% buyers premium is added to final approved bid. Cash, certified check or money order are the only payment options and must be paid at time of pick up or you forfeit the winning item. No Refunds offered.

The auctioneer reserves the right to make any deletions and/or additions to the auction without notice and to remove bids during the auction if necessary. Sterling Transitions can not be responsible for technical issues with the auction platform and the closing of the auction. Issues with technology must be referred to EstateSales.org. Sterling Transitions does our best to communicate with EstateSales.org but is not liable for any issues with the software. Buyers hereby indemnify and hold harmless the auctioneer and seller from any and all damages, claims or liabilities from any injuries to persons or property of any type whatsoever caused during the preview, pick up, and removal of the items purchased. Buyers remove purchases at their own risk. Buyers should arrange for professional de-installation of wired, plumbed, or built-in items, as well as professional removal of excessively heavy items.
We understand that sometimes things happen, so we ask for communication on your part as soon as possible to let us know if you need to change your pick up time or cancel your bid. If we do not hear from you or you do not pay for your goods by the start of the pick up time then your item will be forfeited and we will be unable to allow you to bid in future auctions with us. We apologize for the strict policy but this puts us in an unnecessary bind and we ask you to call or email us ASAP if plans have changed.
