As a member in the International Society of Appraisers, and as a former member of the National Auctioneers Association, Lorrie adheres to the Code of Ethics of these organizations.
Estate sales are held on site at the client's home. We do not have a facility in which to store your items. We only sell; we do not buy estates or individual items. Our schedule is usually pretty full, so please contact us early as we do need some lead time to help you with your estate sale. Optionally, we can also run an online auction for you.

I contracted with Lorrie to conduct a sale of my aunt's personal possessions and household goods. This was a tremendous task. She was organized, thorough, patient, and thoughtful. I live out of state and she often sent me photos to show me the progress. Lorrie prepared me for what to expect before the sale, the days of the sale, and after the sale.
On the day of the sale, Lorrie had plenty of staff available to assist customers. She had every supply her staff needed throughout the sale. If there were questions, she was available to answer them.
After the sale, Lorrie provided a detailed accounting so that I knew exactly what was purchased and the purchase price. I was very pleased with the sale proceeds and how she conducted the sale.
I am completely satisfied with Lorrie's services. I hope I never need to hold an estate sale in Dallas again. However, if I do, I will absolutely call Lorrie Semler.

It was clear that you anticipated all aspects of the process, from communication with the neighbors, to attractive displays, to marketing, to protecting the merchandise during the sale. You seemed to leave no stone unturned in appraising household items (are these WWI souvenirs valuable? are these books first edition?). You were mindful of the interests of our home's new buyers and had the house empty and clean on schedule. I equally appreciated your ongoing communication with me.
