About A&E Estate Sales
A&E Estate Sales was started by Donna Douglas who has worked as an interior decorator for many years but found herself in a situation where she had to do two estate sales of her own. While she had never done an estate sale before then, she would often go to estate sales to look for unique items she could use in her decorating business, so she was familiar with them and how they worked.
Not happy with the people she hired to handle her sales but knowing how such sales should be conducted, she decided to start her own estate sale business with an emphasis on special attention to the needs of the customer. That is the key to success for the estate sales agent as well as the customer because each sale arises out of very different circumstances and it is critical to thoroughly understand the customer’s objectives and state of mind.
We will handle every aspect of your estate sale from selecting and cataloging items for the sale, preparation and display, pricing and of course, advertising. We have access to expert appraisers for especially valuable items such as antiques, art objects, collectibles, jewelry, etc. We also have access to a substantial number of buyers who will show up to look for items that interest them.
