A Family Business

I’m Betty Sierra and I own this business along with my husband, Jose, and our two daughters, Kaitlyn and Corrina. Caring Transitions of Greater Boston is bonded and insured and our team is trained to provide you with excellent service. I am also a Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist, a designation bestowed by an independent organization that evaluates providers of senior relocation services.

Before starting Caring Transitions of Greater Boston, I had transitioned from working in a doctor’s office for over ten years to a stay-at-home mother for our two young sons. When my youngest started school, Jose and I started looking for new opportunities, which is when we found Caring Transitions. We knew right away that Caring Transitions was the right opportunity for us because we’ve been where many of you are today. When my mom passed away a few years ago after a long illness, we were living on the East Coast and my parents were in Las Vegas. Dealing with her estate from across the country and helping my dad move back East was extremely challenging and we learned a lot in the process – experience we have brought to Caring Transitions. By working with Caring Transitions of Greater Boston, you will have someone to turn to in a tough situation – we’ve been there and we know what you are going through.

Outside of Caring Transitions, we’re involved in our children’s lives and their activities. I have volunteered at the pre-school PTO, as well as the “Understanding Our Differences” Program through our sons’ current school. Jose is an attorney and is on the board of a local little league and is also involved in the Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce, among other community organizations.
